28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Spiritual family, life has its challenges, to be sure. Sometimes we can look at our life’s circumstances and truly wonder how things will work out positively, for our benefit. How do you respond to these situations? Do you say “God has this” and mean it from the bottom of your heart? Or do you worry? Do you trust God to make good on His promises or do you try to figure a way out of circumstances on your own power? In other words, do you expect the promised miracles in Romans 8:28 and Matthew 6:33?
Worry doesn’t change things. It just stresses you out. Only God can literally transcend the physical (that’s what miracles are) and work all things out for your good. Do you truly believe that? I pray that you do and expect God’s miracles every day.
Let’s pray: Father God, thanks for Your promises in Your word so that I can move forward with my life no matter what is going on. I know You have blessed me with the gift of faith, but there are times I still falter and have doubts. Like the desperate dad wanting his son to be healed, I cry out to You, Lord, I have faith, increase my faith. Help me to expect Your miraculous touch and provision in my life every day and grant me the spiritual eyes to recognize them. In Jesus’ name, amen.
