Jesus and His Example Sustains Me Through the Tough Times/Abuse

Some grief is so terrible that even tears can’t wash it away.
Francine Rivers

I know I have experienced such great loss in life that if I were to share it with you, you’d think it were fiction. I know the pain and loss that comes with abuse, and tears can’t wash it away. Time moderates the depth of the feelings, but they are still there. What sustains me is knowing that Jesus understands how I feel from personal experience and that He could rise above the physical and the emotional to grab hold of the spiritual. He is my example. It’s my connection to God and His love that sustains me through all the bad things life throws at me. How about you?

  1. It’s definitely Jesus walking next to me every day, encouraging me, loving me, convicting me and guiding me that has gotten me through all the ups and downs in life. I can’t imagine my life without Him always beside me!
