Spiritual Coping Tools/Romans 8:28

If you ever get discouraged or overwhelmed at the direction your life is going, Romans 8:28 is a great scripture to keep in mind. It has God’s promise to work all things (that’s good and bad) for the good for those that love Him. Well, you are His and love Him, right? Then, this promise is for you!

Life gets tough, and sometimes it is difficult to even begin to see how God will work things for your good. He is faithful, and He always honors His promise, sometimes in unexpected ways.

Just keep your eyes focused on His promise and not your physical circumstances. That’s a great thing for you to do when things seem impossible in your life. It is true that you may be unable to change things, but the good news is that nothing is impossible with God. When you are not able, He is.

Pastor G and I suggest that you keep a Spiritual Coping Tool index card file handy to encourage you when life gets hard. Put one tool on each card and enjoy the peace that passes all understanding that our great God will bless you with.
